EOTAS’ stands for ‘Education Other Than at School,’ and is sometimes referred to as ‘EOTIS’ or ‘Education Other Than in School.’ This term provides educational provisions for learners who are unable to attend school in the traditional manner, whether that be in a mainstream or special school setting.

Who We Are
Flexible and personalised educational support
Our EOTAS Package offers flexible and personalised educational support tailored to meet the needs of students who require alternative learning environments. Education can take place in a variety of settings, including at home, online, in a library, or at a community centre - anywhere that provides a safe and conducive learning atmosphere for the learner. Our goal is to ensure that each student receives the high-quality education they deserve, regardless of their circumstances.
To further support our students, we have established partnerships with organisations that provide outdoor learning, equestrian therapy, and hands-on learning experiences. These partnerships allow students to access alternative, engaging learning environments that cater to their individual needs and interests.

Local Authorities have a statutory duty to ensure that every child and young person has access to education. In circumstances where a child or young person is unable to attend school, or where attendance is not currently appropriate, alternative arrangements such as Education Other Than at School (EOTAS) may be considered to meet their educational needs.
EOTAS ensures that children and young people continue to receive meaningful, high-quality education, tailored to their individual needs, while supporting their learning, development, and preparation for future pathways.
The cost of EOTAS (Education Other Than at School) packages will be determined in consultation with the Local Authority. This is due to the bespoke nature of EOTAS packages, which are tailored to the specific educational and support needs of each student.
