Hello ...
this is my story

For many years, I worked closely with children and young people within Special Education, supporting pupils whose needs often could not be met within traditional educational frameworks. Through this work, I saw first-hand how many pupils do not fit into a  “box” and instead require a truly bespoke, flexible approach to learning and support.

I am passionate about working with pupils who have lost confidence in education, need space to rebuild trust, or are navigating complex challenges that impact their ability to engage. Whether this is restoring faith in learning, building self-esteem, providing targeted intervention during a difficult period, or equipping pupils with the right tools to manage transitions, my focus has always been on making education accessible, meaningful and achievable again.

This experience is what led me to establish Inclusive Tutoring Network. What began as a response to unmet need has grown into a collaborative network of skilled professionals working together to support pupils, families and schools. I am incredibly grateful for how the service continues to grow nationally, driven by a shared commitment to creating positive change, supporting inclusion, and ensuring every young person has the opportunity to succeed in a way that works for them.

My vision goes beyond academic success

This understanding led to the creation of Inclusive Tutoring Network, a service built on delivering bespoke, interest-led learning for pupils who find traditional education difficult to access. Many of the young people we support do not engage well with sitting at a desk or within rigid structures, and for some, education has become associated with anxiety, exclusion or repeated failure. Our approach meets pupils where they are, using their interests as a gateway to engagement and progress.

Teaching within Inclusive Tutoring Network goes beyond academics. Our provision can include mentoring, emotional regulation support, life skills development, work-related learning and practical experiences that build confidence and independence alongside literacy and numeracy. Learning is flexible and purposeful, recognising that progress can look different for every pupil, particularly those navigating complex emotional, social or behavioural challenges.

We have recently partnered with LCB Education to further strengthen this approach, enabling access to hands-on, practical, interest-led learning through AQA-accredited programmes. This allows pupils to work towards recognised outcomes while learning in a way that feels meaningful and achievable, with access to both local and remote exam centres where appropriate. Through this model, Inclusive Tutoring Network supports not only academic development, but also re-engagement, resilience and long-term pathways into education, training and adulthood.
