Interim Home Tuition

Description

Interim home tuition is a flexible, short or longer-term education package put in place while a child or young person is awaiting their next placement, whether that is a mainstream school, specialist provision or alternative provision. It plays a vital role in maintaining access to learning, supporting emotional stability and preparing pupils for transition into their next setting. At Inclusive Tutoring Network, our interim provision is fully bespoke and shaped around the individual. Learning can be academic, practical or interest-led, and may include hands-on activities, life skills, mentoring, emotional regulation support and PSHE, alongside Maths and English where appropriate. Our focus is on rebuilding routine, confidence and trust in education at a pace that feels safe and achievable. We have a strong track record of success supporting pupils who have lost faith in education following breakdowns in placement, prolonged absence or trauma, helping them to re-engage positively and transition successfully into their next stage of education.
